The historical center of San Gimignano, the famous medieval city of the “Beautiful Towers”, a recognized UNESCO patrimony of culture and nature, is only 1 km from Casa dei Girasoli and can easily be reached even on foot, with the advantage of a suggestive panoramic 15 minute walk, along the famous Via Francigena.

The HOUSE, which bears the name of “GIRASOLI” (sunflowers), the symbols of summer, is part of a 10 hectare agricultural estate featuring olive groves, peppered with cypresses and immersed in the green of corn fields – interrupted by the light of sunflowers -, which will allow you to return to the genuine, true and welcoming dimension of traditional countryside life.

Casa dei Girasoli is an ancient stone farmhouse, built in 1700 on the pre-existing sighting tower, which dated back to 1200. The total restructuring of the entire complex has maintained its typically Tuscan original characteristics, such as the vaulted ceilings, the brick arches and the terracotta pavements, while also including all modern commodities.
